Making a Difference in Las Vegas

At AFP 2026, join fellow attendees in supporting Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Sunrise Mountain Chapter, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering disabled veterans and their families through advocacy, support services and community outreach.
During this hands-on AFP Aware activity, attendees will design and assemble superhero capes for children facing challenging circumstances. By helping a child see themselves as a superhero, you can provide a powerful reminder of their strength, courage and resilience—and give them one less moment to focus on their current condition.
